Project Data Form
In the Project window screen, click on New Project to begin entering basic information of your property.
A Change Project Definition screen will show up:
This screen has two tabs: Project and Property Description. The first tab is where the project information is entered. Begin by entering the name of the project. (Each project must have a unique name). Next, enter the address, city, state and zip code of the project. Then enter the project date (the initial date of the project), the allocation format and the number of units in the project. (Number of units is a required field whose value cannot be zero). If you are defining units individually, the number of units field is automatically updated with the correct number of units, unless the actual number of units is less than the number entered in the field. Finally, enter the number of phases and number of models in the project. Again, these values will be automatically filled in if you define phases and models. The second tab accesses the property description which is a narrative description of the project. This tab also contains a Spell Check button allowing you to check the spelling of the narrative. Once you have filled in the information for your project, press the Ok button, and you will be ready to define components for it as shown on Step 3.
